Museum of Time – Corporate Identity & Stationery

September 11th, 2009 Comments

This project was a whole challengebecause of the wide range of topics we had. Having a long list with titles made me confused again but it was great our tutor L. Blazey gave each of us 2-3 random titles so we could choose the one we liked the most.

The most helpful start for this project was creating a mind-map diagram. By using it I could develop more ideas in relation to the main topic. Also I started the creative process by using obvious elements (connected with ‘time’ in my case – clocks) and then tried to start looking beyond that – for example what’s inside the clocks – cogs, arrows, calendars, numbers, etc. Here is the result:

Lightening typeface

June 27th, 2009 Comments

This project was really interesting. I have discovered a whole world of typefaces around me – for example alphabets made of hairs, clothes, liquids, body curves and any kind of tools we use every day including toilet paper . Also I have found that each typeface has its own character and mood and its outlines subconsciously remind us of other objects.

I’ve designed my type using the shape of a lightning because its curves give me the freedom to enlighten each letter’s shape and at the same time to reflect a particular idea.

Here’s a part of the desig process development and the final results:
